choosing to try
This is my first blog post. I wanted to start by sharing what drives me and what I believe in. Not because I have it all figured out—I definitely don't—but because writing this down helps me think clearly.
"If you don't fight, you can't win." - Eren Yeager
This quote stays with me. Not in a "go fight everyone" way, but more like—if you don't even try, nothing changes. And I'm done sitting on the sidelines.
What Drives Me
I want to be kind to everyone. Not because it's easy, but because kindness is the foundation of everything meaningful we build. Technology should serve humanity, not the other way around.
I want to solve big problems. Problems that matter. Problems that make people's lives better. I haven't found the problem yet, but until I do, I'll keep tinkering around my computer.
Smartness is a Choice
I used to think some people were just born smart. That's BS.
It's about choosing to learn when you're confused. Choosing to try again after failing. Choosing to keep going when it's 2 AM and your code still won't work.
Every expert was once exactly where you are right now. Confused. Googling basic stuff. Making mistakes. The only difference? They kept showing up.
You don't need permission to start learning. You don't need to be "ready." You just need to choose to try.
Things I'm Trying to Follow
- I will never intentionally hurt others.
- I will build things that help, not harm.
- I will approach every problem with curiosity and compassion.
- I will keep learning, keep growing, and keep pushing forward.
Look, I haven't figured it all out. I'm just trying. But maybe that's all any of us can do.
Thanks for reading my first post. More to come as I figure things out.
